Ambitiebeesten Mixtape Contest
One of my favorite Dutch crews is Ambitiebeesten. Maybe you’ve listened to one of their mixtapes, which are quite famous in Holland (listen: here, here and here). The crew hails from Amersfoort, a city in the middle of Holland, and consists out of four guys, two of them (Thijs and Thomas) form the Ambitiebeesten DJ-duo. The other half (Tijmen and Benjamin) are more involved with the management side.
Next Ambitiebeesten event will be on the 21th of April at The Kelder and non-other then Dutch electro act Nobody Beats The Drum will headline the event. This three headed monster is currently touring the US, with a performance at Ultra Musci Festival (interview). Not familiar with Nobody Beats The Drum? Checkout the YT playlist below!
Ambitiebeesten DJ-contest
Nobody Beats The Drum in Room 1. Room 2 of Podium De Kelder is reserved for new talent. A young gun like you or maybe somebody you know. How do you land this gig? Easy, make a 30 minute or longer mixtape and let the Ambitiebeesten crew know where to find the mix (email: info@ambitiebeesten.nl). Besides several goodies, the best submission wins the DJ-spot in Room 2 on the 21th of April.
