Lorin Ashton aka Bassnectar is a great example of how an artist can use newsletters to engage his fans. On a regular basis Bassnectar sends updates about recent and upcoming gig’s but also production news. If you’re into Bassnectar’s bass heavy dubstep sound, I recommend subscribing.

Timestretch, Wildstyle and Divergent Spectrum are among Bassnectar’s latest projects. He’s worked with Ellie Goulding, KRS-One and Spearhead to name a few. Quite the track record and so is installment #7 in the Amorphous Music Mixtape serie. Bassnectar build this mix around his own productions but also included work from other producers. A 30 minute ride through dubstep and beyond.
