4 New Mixes You Might Have Missed

Get ready, it’s time for a new recap of things happend in the last seven days at BimTaks.com!

First week of 2012 has passed and the main thing that kept my busy is the  new design of the blog. The thing is that I’ve got to manually edit each post. Crop pictures to fit the new thumbnail feature and size the Soundcloud player’s. If you’re a returning visitor you probably understand that this is something that takes time. I f not and this is your first visit; in 2011 I posted over 200 mixtapes. Bare with me, in the following days / weeks I’ll be wrap up these tasks and fully focus on what I do best: Mixtapes!

Ambitiebeesten Nieuwjaarsvoer Mixtape

Dutch collective and friends Ambitiebeesten celebrated the launch of their new site by releasing a new mixtape. A cool 1hr mix which combines house, future garage, dubstep and a dash of drum and bass.

As a appetizer for their Avalon take-over, Trouble & Bass crew released a mixtape. As always it’s filled with bass-heavy tunes.

Henzel & Disco Nova 2011 Yearmix

Friends Henzel & Disco Nova gathered all their favorite tracks of 2011 and crammed them into 90 min’ mix. Think electro combined with a fair amount of techno.

Boris Dlugosch Welcome 2012 Mix

German DJ / producer Boris Dlugosch made a mixtape which celebrates the coming of a new year. This 60 min’ mix is based on a few solid house tracks with a few trips to a more darker area of techno and electro.
